Themed Chess Tournament - French Defense

Event Details

This coming weekend, we will have a themed tournament. We will play the French Defense 1.e4 e6

Agenda

1. 4:00 PM : We meet at the cafe.
2. 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM : We have a brief discussion over the openings.
3. 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM We play a Swiss System Tournament among ourselves.

Pre-requisites

1. Please bring a chess board and a chess clock if you have one.
2. We will manage with chess clock app if there is shortage of clocks and if there are more people coming. So please download the same.
3. Please be familiar with fide tournament rules like touch move and wrong move loss. And the rules of chess like En-passant, castling long and short, etc

Tournament will be 10 min Blitz games with no increment. The tournament will start by 4.00 pm in the plaza in freedom park.
