Themed Chess Tournament - Queen's Pawn Game

Event Details

This club is picking up pace and the meetups are getting more interesting by the weekend thanks to all of you. This coming weekend like every other weekend, we will be hosting a themed tournament. We will play 1.d4 openings only this weekend.

Agenda

1. 4:00 PM : We meet at urban solace ULSOOR 1. 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM : We have a brief discussion over the openings.
2. 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM We play a Swiss System Tournament among ourselves.

Pre-requisites

1. Please bring a chess board and a chess clock if you have one.
2. We will manage with chess clock app if there is shortage of clocks and if there are more people coming. So please download the same.
3. Please be familiar with fide tournament rules like touch move and wrong move loss. And the rules of chess like En-passant, castling long and short, etc

Tournament will be 15 min games with no increment. The tournament will start by 4.00 pm in urban solace cafeteria See you guys next Sunday and let's bring our A-game to the Centre of Bengaluru city.
