Themed Chess Tournament

Event Details

We meet at 4pm. Play casual games for a bit and start the tournament by 5pm. Each week we play different themed tournaments. The theme for next week is updated in the Bangalore Chess Club whatsapp group.

The entry for this meetup is Rs.150/-. You will get a drink and something to eat from the cafe.

Agenda

1. 4:00 PM : We start with some casual chess
2. 5:00 PM We start the tournament.

Pre-requisites

1. Please bring a chess board and a chess clock if you have one.
2. We will manage with chess clock app if there is a shortage of clocks and if there are more people coming. So please download the same.
3. Please be familiar with fide tournament rules like touch move and wrong move loss. And the rules of chess like En-passant, castling long and short, etc

Tournament will be 15 min Standard games with no increment.
